Initial steps into the future
1991
Caesar launches two exclusive, patented products onto the market, namely Mosaico and Electrogres anti-static tiles.


Caesar lands in the USA
1997
Caesar reinforces its presence in the US; opening a commercial base and warehouse.


Tecnolito collection: innovative surfaces
1998
Caesar presents a new type of tile, produced with the use of the micronized and atomised - so made into a very fine powder - which gives surfaces stripes of colour and innovative shading.


ISO 14001
1998
Caesar is the world’s first company in the ceramics sector to obtain ISO 14001 certification for environmental quality.


Like stone: Millenarie collection
1999
Caesar launches its first “stone container”: a collection of ceramics inspired by twelve natural stones, each a faithful reproduction of the stone’s details and features.

Ecolabel
2004
Caesar is the first Italian ceramics manufacturer to receive the prestigious Ecolabel environmental certification for its products.


Feel Collection
2004
Caesar presents a great innovation in the ceramics field, thanks to the use of particular materials inserted during the pressing phase. The result is a millerighe effect full of contrasts and alternating shiny and matte areas that is soft and pleasant to the touch.


More Collection
2005
Caesar presents a ceramic that is ideal for design projects thanks to its technicality, natural colours and simple lines. The insertion of reflective micro-elements makes for a particularly attractive product.


New base and new spaces
2007
The new offices and avant-garde showroom, an open laboratory for sector professionals, are inaugurated.


Caesar Design Centre in London
2007
The Design Centre is born in the heart of the British capital, a relational hub for designers in search of advanced solutions.


LEED certification
2009
Caesar becomes part of the Green Building Council Italia, a body that promotes the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) independent certification system. LEED parameters establish precise criteria for the design and creation of buildings that are salubrious, energy efficient and of contained environmental impact.


European Ecolabel Communication Award
2009
The European Commission recognises our environmental and responsible management policies with an important award.

Innovation has a new name: CaesarTech
2011
Introducing a division dedicated to technical design support, for designers and firms. Over the years, Caesartech has developed special pieces and specific solutions that extend porcelain tile’s applications of use.


AExtra20
2011
The AEXTRA20 line, 20mm thick porcelain tile for outdoor use, goes into production. An important product innovation for Caesar, which opens an important new market for outdoor ceramics solutions.


Caesar Contract Solutions

Caesar launches a series of collections at Cersaie 2012 that are specifically designed for the contract world, adding to the wide range of porcelain tiles by Ceramiche Caesar.

Caesar launches a wood-effect collection that is particularly faithful in terms of its veining and knots, as well as its colours.

Urban Lab in London
2015
Ceramiche Caesar inaugurates a new meeting point in the heart of Clerkenwell, a real hub for architectural study that is at the core of international creative research.


Large sizes
2015
Project Evolution is born, the line of large size porcelain slabs. A line of products in continuous evolution, with the constant addition of thicknesses and sizes in order to satisfy designers’ needs.


Espace Design in Paris

Caesar creates an elegant and functional space in the French capital, a place for dialogue between the made in Italy and French design.


The new Caesar Gallery in Fiorano
2017
The new Caesar Gallery in the general district of Fiorano is inaugurated. More than 1000 m² of exhibition space at the service of designers and vendors.


Caesar USA in Tennessee
2018
The new HQ in Nashville consolidates the active presence of Caesar on American soil.

For the 2020 edition, the originality of the slabs and the versatility offered by the Join collection by Ceramiche Caesar won over the popular jury who proclaimed the range as the winner of the “Popular Choice Award” category for the “Finishes - Ceramic tiles” section.
