Casa Monica - Private house Caesar Ceramics, The unique ‘material culture’ that identifies us comes from more than 30 years experience and innovation in the field of high-quality Italian porcelain tile, a guarantee of comprehensive technical know-how.

Senza gas, dotata di un sistema di riciclo dell’acqua piovana, di pannelli solari e di quattro pozzi geotermici: è a Modena l’“abitazione più ecologica d’Italia”, che produce energia e non inquina.

Without gas, equipped with a system for recycling rain water, solar panels and four geothermal pools: the “most eco-friendly house in Italy” is in Modena, a house that produces energy and is pollution-free. In a residential quarter at just a few steps from the historical city centre, Casa Monica is 80% energy self-sufficient, thanks to a photovoltaic system on the roof for the production of electric energy and a geothermal system for under-floor cooling in summer and heating in winter. For these reasons, the two-floor house, which has built using timber from South Tyrol, is the first Italian building to have been awarded the GBC Home Platinum certification, according to the strict protocols of the American “Green Building Council”. Ceramiche Caesar, that has made respect for people and the environment essential reference values, has contributed to reaching such an important target, by supplying the floors of the outdoor area, in particular the Aextra20 monolithic porcelain stoneware slabs with a thickness of 20 mm. Urban Grey and Trendy Black of the stone effect ceramic series E.motions, apart from ensuring aesthetic value and functional efficiency, fulfil the requirements in terms of atmospheric refraction that are requested to obtain the Leed credits necessary for the GBC certification. Thanks to exceptional performance in terms of resistance and stability, Aextra20 is the ideal solution for outdoor spaces that are subject not only to heavy traffic but also to atmospheric agents.
