He is Chief Executive Officer at Ceramiche Caesar S.p.A. After studying Economics and Business Management and gaining experience in the banking sector, he began his career at Gruppo Concorde. Since 1997, he has been working at Ceramiche Caesar, where he has covered the role of Marketing Manager and Sales Director.

A novelist and screenwriter, he worked with Roberto Faenza on the film Prendimi l'anima. He also boasts collaborations with Davide Marenga, Mihály Györik, the Manetti bros and with Carlo Lucarelli, among others. He has written radio plays and radio programmes, and has also collaborated with Lucarelli on television programmes. He has also participated in several TV dramas including Distretto di Polizia, Crimini, l'Ispettore Coliandro and La Porta Rossa, for which he is author and head writer.

Elena Vai (Ph.D.) is a Researcher at the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna, where she collaborates with the Advanced Design Unit. Since 2019 she has been coordinating the activities of the Research Centre on Cultural and Creative Industries (CRICC) at the University of Bologna, and since 2023 she has been a member of the Strategic Thematic Group "Design for Societal Transformation" directed by the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), within the EIT on Culture and Creativity. Her research interests are in creative practices (embodied creativity) and advanced design, with reference to the development of innovative cultural and creative ecosystems. She deals with anticipation and commoning design in processes of urban, cultural and human reactivation in the contemporary city. Since 2021, he has been Associate Editor of the journal diid - industrial design.

Guglielmo Renzi

Guglielmo Renzi lives and works in Florence. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and for years he has been engaged in a range of disciplines comprising design, art and architecture. He has created works in Italy and abroad, interior design projects for hotels, shops and showrooms and has taken part in many art and design exhibitions. He has taught as an assistant on a course run by the Professor of Architecture Adolfo Natalini at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and has been Visiting Professor at the University of Art and Design in Halle in Germany. He took part in Documenta 8 in Kassel, the XVII Triennale in Milan and the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014.

Having obtained a degree in humanities, she commenced her career in journalism for national newspapers. In 1993, she transitioned into the field of publishing, focusing on the development of industry-specific magazines. Following a tenure in the Professionals sector at Gruppo Sole 24ORE, she acquired a publishing house in 2003 and introduced new editorial products across various domains, including the editorial brand PLATFORM.

Expanding her scope in 2011, she diversified into organizing cultural events and training programs spanning various sectors, with a particular emphasis on architecture and design. In 2014, she founded Archmarathon Awards, a globally operating cultural event. Subsequently, in 2017, they initiated public relations activities within the architecture and design industry through the Casa Platform format in Milan.

In 2020, she orchestrated the inaugural edition of Archweek Miami. Currently, she is are extending the Casa Platform format to Rome and launching the American edition of Platform in the Miami and Florida area.
