Mount vernon leisure centre londra (uk)

The suburb of artists and writers, Hampstead is located at just a few kilometres AWAY from the London’s city centre. Here, comfortable houses, the right distance from the city centre and the high standard of design and technology of structures give life to a panorama where modernity and traces of the ancient city live side by side. In one of the ( most whealty ) wealthiest districts of London, you will find the Mount Vernon Leisure Centre, a very exclusive residential complex, in which (the) SJT Associates studio, and in particular the architect Stuart Thompson, have taken care of the leisure suite of the structure THROUGH a particularly refined stylistic research. The porcelain stoneware of Ceramiche Caesar has been chosen to give the floors of the swimming pool and the walls of the bathrooms an elegant appeal. The substantial and versatile nature of the Absolute collection, installed in its Beola Bianca nuance, characterises the areas surrounding the swimming pools, the grids and the borders, thanks also to the vast range of Aquae wellness project trim pieces. Slab and Portraits have instead been chosen for the spa environments, to offer warmth and a feeling of comfort to the walls of the swimming pool, of the bathrooms and of the wellness areas: Slab recalls the charm of slate and its slightly structured surface. It has been used in the Snow colour and 60x60 cm size; The Wall Mix decoration of the Portraits collection, in the light Comblanchien tone, has given the walls of the swimming pool area a natural stone effect hence creating an attractive atmosphere with a touch of class.

Trace Mint: the ceramic slab that boasts... countless attempts at imitation

Trace Mint: ahead of the trends

Caesar’s 2014 objective was a tough one: to convey the industrial fascination and retro charm of weathered metalon ceramic, with a view to unveiling to its professional and private public, an original original material that was well able to take a leading role in a design environment.

This challenge took on the decisive features of the Trace collection: metal inspirations celebrating metropolitan rusticity and combining the technical qualities of porcelain tiles with a decisive decorative character, flaunting a deliberately weathered look.

The collection spread rapidly throughout the five continents, bringing its distinct hues to hotels, restaurants, villas ans swimming pools alike. The Mint colour, in particular, was - and continues to be - extremely popular, inspired by oxidised copper. And the shade has proven to be a forerunner of the trends that continue to characterise the design projects today.
