The renovation of the Signiel Residence, designed by Kim Sang-yoon, takes place in the upper levels of Seoul’s Lotte World Tower and translates the city’s cultural identity into a domestic landscape. Here, architecture opens up to a new vision of living: a composed balance between craftsmanship, Korean identity, and contemporary language. Caesar surfaces are integrated through formats and thicknesses selected according to function and structure, where every element is part of a cohesive whole.
Floors and Wall Coverings
The floor features the Ice variant from the Slab2 collection, a reinterpretation of the essence of slate. The 120×120 cm format ensures striking continuity and high aesthetic impact. The walls mirror the same material in the large 120×278 cm format, creating a continuous spatial rhythm.

The Kitchen
In the kitchen, the countertop is made using a product from Olos, the Ceramiche Caesar brand offering 12 mm-thick slabs for furniture applications. The chosen top is in the Comblanchien colour, inspired by a bright French stone. It forms a compact, distinctive block in harmony with the overall space design.

The Bathroom
In the bathroom, the furniture volume is clad with a 6 mm Caesar slab in the 120×278 cm format. The material follows the design, contributing to the unitary reading of the space.

Caesar within the Project
In the Signiel Residence, living takes shape as a quiet gesture, rooted in materials and daily rituals. Caesar’s surfaces are part of this vision, in direct dialogue with contemporary architecture, Korean culture, and the rhythm of urban life.
