Pala Todisco: a multifunctional conference centre with Caesar ventilated facades Caesar Ceramics, The unique ‘material culture’ that identifies us comes from more than 30 years experience and innovation in the field of high-quality Italian porcelain tile, a guarantee of comprehensive technical know-how.

In a context of the most traditional Tuscan rural landscape, Pala Todisco is a vibrant multifunctional congress centre that combines aesthetic appeal, practicality and environmental awareness. This innovative location, created by converting a former munitions factory, is a fine example of an architectural transformation designed to meet modern needs with a strong focus on sustainability.

Central to Pala Todisco’s identity is Caesar’s Portraits collection, specifically chosen for the ventilated facades on the outside of the building. The 120x278 size slabs in the elegant Faro colour evoke the stone effect and cloak the structure with a refined cladding to create a dialogue between the architecture and the surrounding natural landscape. The surfaces, which enter into a stylish conversation with the architecture, were selected on the basis of meticulous attention to details and the desire for perfect integration with the natural surroundings.

Versatility is the heart of the design of Pala Todisco, which adapts effortlessly to host a wide range of cultural and congress events. With green grounds of more than 4,000 square metres, the centre does not only provide multifunctional internal spaces but also encourages fluid integration between indoor and outdoor areas. This approach invites guests to connect with nature and creates a welcoming, stimulating ambience for the various activities.

At this dynamic location’s heart is the Auditorium, designed to accommodate up to 484 people. The stone look of the Portraits collection bestows personality on its interior and provides the backdrop to events ranging from conferences to concerts. Used for the floors and walls, Caesar’s ceramic surfaces, in the 60x120 and 120x278 sizes, create a welcoming mood that encourages attendees to focus completely on every moment. The toilets and other areas were tiled with the Join collection in Ink, Glare and Plume colours in the 60x60 and 60x120 sizes in the Soft finish, as well as in the 80x80 size. In addition, the Key Mood collection, with its classical Italian stone effect in the Cotton colour, was installed in 60x120 size with Matt finish.

With a constant commitment to sustainability and a well-tuned response to modern needs, Pala Todisco provides a major new cultural location. The rich colours and finishes of Caesar’s ceramic surfaces give the project a contemporary identity and reflect a responsible design vision that embraces the future.
