Bridge City Shopping Center Caesar Ceramics, The unique ‘material culture’ that identifies us comes from more than 30 years experience and innovation in the field of high-quality Italian porcelain tile, a guarantee of comprehensive technical know-how.

KWAMASHU, SOUTH AFRICA: THE BRIDGE CITY SHOPPING CENTRE GETS A MAKEOVER AND CHOOSES CAESAR FOR ITS COMMON PREMISES.

n the heart of KwaMashu (South Africa), the Bridge City Shopping Centre provides an extremely dynamic and comprehensive shopping experience. Through a wide range of businesses activities - ranging from restaurants to major fashion brands and local artisan boutiques - the centre aims to reflect the heterogeneous and inclusive character of the city itself.

In 2022, the Bridge City Shopping Centre reopened its doors to tourists and residents after a major renovation aimed at improving services as well as modernising the common premises.

Caesar porcelain stoneware proved its superior quality capable of combining technique and aesthetics right in this shopping centre. Made in Italy ceramics furnished the floors and walls of these venues in various collections and nuances.

These include Shapes of Italy, the collection inspired by seven iconic natural stones that have made the history of Italian art and architecture, translating their full aesthetic potential into ceramic charm. The result? A renowned contemporary elegance, unique and never the same.

Shapes of Italy plays with nuances, dialogues with other collections and with its own tones, proving an intrinsic versatility that allows it to create harmonious and dynamic environments, also thanks to its different manifold shades available.

One of the installed surfaces is the Core collection, the stone-effect porcelain stoneware with a strong and pure impact. A textural and refined collection that faithfully reproduces the nature that inspires it. The South African shopping centre project chose it in the dark Tephra shade and 60x60 cm side.

Among its main peculiarities, porcelain stoneware boasts very high resistance to the most diverse types of stresses. This is why Caesar ceramics proved to be the ideal material for wall tiling: in the presence of high and frequent trampling and foot traffic - as it happens in a shopping centre - its surfaces are synonymous with safety and durability.
