The Cross Design Contest, held in 2017, involved architecture and design enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world. Participants were asked to create a project capable of interpreting, in an original and creative way, the trends proposed by Caesar in Cross Design Magazine 2017: Rise, Reverb and Peaceful. The trends dictated the guidelines for the design of an urban loft featuring Caesar products. 102 projects from 62 countries around the world were submitted: the winner, Elegant Contrast by architect Luca Paviglianiti, was physically realised in the New Caesar Gallery, which opened in September 2017.
