On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2023, the Caesar Urban Lab in Milan hosted the third edition of Instant of Change, a project that narrated matter through unconventional sensorial-experiential paths. The work on show was “Tris”, an art object that brings together three noble materials - porcelain stoneware, Corian® and steel. 

Tris represents the moment when design meets art, in a unique object where the products come together to create a work of art that is the result of the creativity of Finemateria's design duo. The base of Tris is composed of two volumes of porcelain stoneware and Corian®, while the nine pawns to play with are made of steel.

The work connects the brands in the exhibition space like different actors in the same film. "Tris brings several factors together. Tris is both in the game and in the union of three companies, three materials, but it is also in the union of people. All three materials touch each other, people touch them, so from a sensory, tactile point of view there is a very deep and visual interaction", said exhibition designer Luca A. Caizzi.
