Poderi Arcangelo Caesar Ceramics, The unique ‘material culture’ that identifies us comes from more than 30 years experience and innovation in the field of high-quality Italian porcelain tile, a guarantee of comprehensive technical know-how.

The tradition and allure of Tuscany is the privileged setting of Poderi Arcangelo, a farm-stay full of charm and opportunity located on a hill between Florence and Siena, just a short stroll away from the famous medieval towers of San Gimignano.

Everything speaks of wellness and naturalness at Poderi Arcangelo, from the surrounding olive groves and vineyards, with direct sales of produce from the field to the table, to the warm family welcome and Nonna Maria's traditional cooking.

The architectural aspects contribute to enhancing the vocation of Poderi Arcangelo to form the perfect balance of past and present. The farm-stay consists of three farmhouses dating back from the 1600s and 1700s that have been renovated with the most up-to-date technologies guided by the bio-energy concept.

The porcelain tile solutions of CAESAR Ceramiche as a guarantee of functionality, quality, good looks and sustainability perfectly in tune with the development and management principles of Poderi Arcangelo were chosen for the infinity pool recently built near Casa Capezzano, the 19th-century farmhouse that serves as the main structure of the farm-stay.

The trademark technical features of Caesar products were the answer to the need for functionality first and foremost in the swimming pool where the need for well-being meets the requirement of safety. The CaesarTech division was called to offer a design support and consultancy service with custom solutions and installation advice. Versatility, variety and aesthetic continuity are the foundations of the wide range of products that express all the Italian-made quality of Caesar porcelain tiles. The Aquae Wellness Project is an organic and coordinated range of technologically advanced special pieces that transpose into excellent performance and personalised looks.

This was the way chosen by picking tiles from the Elapse and Portraits series. By interpreting the look and feel of natural stone, these products secure high performance while giving continuity to the architecture of the farmhouse and the agrestal context.

The light and warm Faro colour of the 60x60-cm Portraits tiles sets the mood of the flooring surrounding the pool. The choice that blends into its surroundings has a textured finish ensuring a non-slip surface with grip for safe and reliable use even in the presence of water.

Elapse, on the other hand, is a contemporary take reminiscent of time-worn stone that conveys a feeling of eternity to the setting. For its intended use, the Cave colour of the Elapse tiles, 30x60 cm size, was picked to complement the flooring with its dark and intense grey and anthracite hues and non-slip finish, in addition to the range of Bordo and Griglia special tiles for swimming pools.
