London – From May 20 to 22, 2025, Caesar will take part in Clerkenwell Design Week with a program of experiential events that celebrate Italian design, materials, and culture. The initiative will center around the Caesar Urban Lab London, the company’s permanent showroom located in the heart of Clerkenwell’s creative district.

Clerkenwell Design Week is one of the UK’s leading industry events, featuring over 600 activities including exhibitions, artistic installations, and events in the most prestigious showrooms. Each year, it attracts the most influential international brands in interior design, transforming Clerkenwell into a global hub for the creative community.

Essence of Italy: art, color, conviviality

The inspiration behind the entire project is Essence of Italy, a concept celebrating the creativity and identity of Italian design through the new CiViC concrete-effect collection, which becomes a living, three-dimensional language in the hands of designers.
The three-day experience is designed to engage all the senses, with live painting, creative workshops, street food, and Italian-style aperitivos

Three days of design and inspiration:

• Italian Street Food (May 20–21, 1:30–3:30 PM) 

Outside the showroom, a food truck will offer authentic specialties from Italian culinary tradition.

• Live Art Performance by Nataliya Revonyuk (May 20–21, 4:00–5:00 PM)

The Italo-Ukrainian artist will create a live painting on porcelain stoneware, turning the ceramic surface into a contemporary artwork. A dialogue between material and gesture that highlights the artistic value of the product.

• Creative Workshops (May 20–21, 4:00–5:00 PM)

Two limited-capacity workshops focused on craftsmanship and color: Cushion-Making Workshop (May 20) will explore sustainable materials through the creation of cushions inspired by Caesar’s color palette; A Floral Art Experience (May 21) will focus on the Italian floral tradition, led by Italian florist Liliane Verderocce.

• DJ set e Spritz Party (May 20–21, from 5:30 PM)

Each day will conclude with a moment of relaxation and socializing: a DJ set and a classic Italian aperitivo served on trays made from Caesar surface samples.
