Christmas at caesar: a concrete support to two charity projects
18 December 2013
Christmas at Caesar: a concrete support to two charity projects Ceramiche Caesar have, for many years now, decided not to send out Christmas presents to our customers, but to instead support charitable projects: in particular, our support to Operazione Fame campaign by ActionAid has come to the fourth consequent year. Today in the world, 842 million people are still suffering from hunger. The objective of the “Operazione Fame” is to change the way food resources are currently distributed; a model that seriously puts countries in the poorer parts of the world in danger of famine as well as the millions of people who live in the richer parts of the world. The motto of the campaign is “We need the right tools to fight famine”: a way to remind us that, in order to beat famine we need to provide people with the tools to grow healthy food in a viable way using sustainable methods and costs. “LA CASA DI FAUSTA” PROJECT The ASEOP association (Associazione sostegno ematologia oncologia pediatrica) is a CHARITY that has its head office in the region of Modena, and whose main objective is that of improving the quality of life of children suffering from oncologic diseases and the quality of life of their families. Caesar 100% supports the ASEOP “La casa di Fausta” project, that aims at the creation of 12 living accommodations in the Oncologic Diseases Ward of Modena hospital; the objective is to give the young patients and their families somewhere to stay during their treatment, in a bid to reduce the amount of time the children have to stay in hospital, giving them the opportunity to live in a family environment and be able to have their own space and more time together. We wish you a Christmas full of peace and joy and the hope for a better future for everybody. Something to build this better future has already been done thanks to you.
