Papo restaurant - Turin

Dietro la facciata austera di città operaia, Torino si trasforma in una casa pronta ad accogliere le persone più curiose.

Behind the stern facade of a working class city, Turin becomes a home to the most peculiar people. Like all homes, it has an entrance - the Porta Nuova railway station, a kitchen - the market of Porta Palazzo, and, of course, the sitting room Piazza San Carlo, as well as a terrace, the Parco del Valentino, and a variety of other spaces and stories. In a beautiful corner of Turin, between the River Po and the Gran Madre, one can find Ristorante Papo, where a homey spirit and care for taste and innovation become the leitmotiv of a location that focuses above all on quality. A vision shared with Ceramiche Caesar that has been chosen for the supply of the restaurant’s floors, under the common denominator of high aesthetic and performance-related requirements. The inspiration for the decor comes from the restaurant’s catchphrase “The taste of the sea in the centre of Turin”. This is also the starting point of the choice of materials used. Trace is the collection of Caesar porcelain stoneware selected for the floors. In its Mint colour, Trace harmonises perfectly with the location’s atmosphere. Its peculiar chromatic effects bring to mind a stormy sea. The 120x120 cm large size amplifies the sensation of depth and vastness of the sea, in a perfect mix of originality and harmony. The aesthetic features complete the exceptional technological performance of the material to offer the sturdiness, durability, water-proof properties and ease-of-cleaning that are typical of Caesar’s Made in Italy porcelain stoneware.

Marble look - a contemporary classic

Today more than ever, in a time of uncertainty, having a home that fulfills the role of a cozy retreat and that is at the same time an expression of our personality and our needs is really important.

Renewing and rethinking your spaces, however, often turns out to be anything but simple.

The cyclical return of trends, specific moods and the consequent reinterpretation of styles and influences of the past in a current key, are dynamics that have always belonged to the world of fashion, but also interior design has subsequently welcomed and interpreted them with extreme naturalness: it is becoming increasingly common to come across residential or commercial projects in which the boundaries between classic and contemporary are far from defined, paving the way for contamination and eclectic mix of trends - and eras - apparently at the antipodes.

Hygiene and safety: the new recipe for a safe workplace

In the face of an infectious disease outbreak, how we protect our workers now clearly dictates how safe our communities are, and how resilient our businesses will be” - this was a statement made a few months ago by Guy Ryder, Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO). He went on to add: “It is only by implementing occupational safety and health measures that we can protect the lives of workers, their families and the larger communities, ensure work continuity and economic survival”.
