International design awards Alchemy Lux and Prima by Caesar Caesar Ceramics USA, Tiles, slabs and technical solutions

07 November 2022

From the Architizer A+Awards to the ADA-Archiproducts Design Awards: Caesar gets it all and wins its latest collections at the most important design and furniture contests and competitions.

Specifically, Alchemy Lux - the new high-gloss finish of the collection that explores the beauty of metal with extreme originality - won the Popular Choice Winner of the Architizer A+Awards 2022 community, competing in the "Finishes - Hard Surfacing, Tiles & Stones" section, while the new Prima collection, in the Avio shade, is on the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 Longlist, whose winners will be announced in November 2022.

These are both awards with international standing, proposed by portals with great appeal that each year aim to extend the synergy between designers, architects and producers of solutions and materials for the AEC (Architecture Engineering Construction) sector, selecting the best proposals to choose from according to the different categories.

Indeed Caesar has always wanted to enhance the value of ceramic material and, over time, has invested resources and energy to develop increasingly high-performance solutions, both technically and aesthetically. It achieved a range of complete and transversal proposals, capable of satisfying the functional and wellbeing requirements of contract as well as residential environments. And it has done so by following - if not sometimes anticipating - the need to look at porcelain stoneware above all as a true and proper furnishing element, capable of adding value to spaces and customising them to the utmost with a high aesthetic value, while also guaranteeing a strong focus on the sustainability factor. Hence, porcelain stoneware should not be considered only as a product for architecture.

Alchemy Lux and Prima fully meet these standards. The bright LUX finish renewed the success of Alchemy and further highlighted the prestige and personality of a current collection that explored metal in an unusual and therefore even more original way.

Prima, on the other hand, has clay as its dominant theme, a natural material of very ancient origins that has now been re-proposed in a contemporary ceramic key, offering great design freedom.

Caesar is no stranger to prestigious awards and already won the Architizer A+AwardsPopular Choice Winner with the Join collection in 2020. This new attribution is a confirmation and, at the same time, a new reason to be proud and continue research and development on materials and trends in the name of Made-in-Italy excellence.
