Private home in cote d'azur

With its sunny beaches, breathtaking turquoise and crystal clear sea and picturesque villages huddled on the mountains overlooking the Riviera, the Côte d’Azur is the ideal place for lovers of the sea, the sun, beach life and having fun. As setting of unexpected routes and exceptional art galleries of the masters of Impressionism, who drew inspiration from the bright colours of nature, the landscapes appear as if painted and the rocks as if sculpted by the wind. Beauty and charm blend in perfect harmony in a location that the entire world envies. In this evocative context, Ceramiche Caesar contributed to the development of a luxury private residence, completed in 2016, by providing its nature-inspired ceramic collections to the indoor and outdoor environments, as well as the aesthetic and functional reliability that the most exclusive locations need and demand. Absolute, the ceramic collection inspired by stone, plays the leading role in the indoor and outdoor areas of the residence, with character and an original appeal. In the Beola Bianca colour - a white tone with an even grain - manufactured in accordance to eco-compatible criteria, the Caesar collection interprets the strength of stone in a truly authentic manner to become an expression of cutting-edge design. Stone also inspires Verse, Made in Italy porcelain stoneware characterised by a matt and finely chiselled texture combining an elegant appearance to a soft touch. Along with Anima, the refined collection faithfully reproducing all the charm of marble, Verse has been chosen for the bathroom spaces. The Roxstones Roxwall 3 decoration has been instead selected for the counters and walls, both indoors and outdoors. Dynamic surfaces that are never ordinary, which recall all the peculiar features of quartzite and allow for the creation of settings with a strong visual impact.

Trace Mint: the ceramic slab that boasts... countless attempts at imitation

Trace Mint: ahead of the trends

Caesar’s 2014 objective was a tough one: to convey the industrial fascination and retro charm of weathered metalon ceramic, with a view to unveiling to its professional and private public, an original original material that was well able to take a leading role in a design environment.

This challenge took on the decisive features of the Trace collection: metal inspirations celebrating metropolitan rusticity and combining the technical qualities of porcelain tiles with a decisive decorative character, flaunting a deliberately weathered look.

The collection spread rapidly throughout the five continents, bringing its distinct hues to hotels, restaurants, villas ans swimming pools alike. The Mint colour, in particular, was - and continues to be - extremely popular, inspired by oxidised copper. And the shade has proven to be a forerunner of the trends that continue to characterise the design projects today.

Classic Blue selected as Colour of 2020: Caesar ahead of the curve

For the last 20 years, the announcement of the colour of the year has been one of the most hotly anticipated moments in the calendar for designers and aficionados of style and design. The colour of year can be used as part of interior design projects to showcase their ability to reflect the latest sociological trends, or be incorporated into the home via smaller objects which keep our private spaces in sync with developing styles.

Since 2000, the company responsible for selecting the colour of the year has been Pantone, the US market leader in colour cataloguing and the inventor of the eponymous colour identification system.
