CERSAIE 2015: A SUCCESS CALLED CAESAR

Fiorano Modenese | October 2015. The 33rd edition of Cersaie in Bologna has recently come to a close, registering a tremendous influx of visitors from Italy and abroad, all interested in, during the most important event for ceramics for architecture and sanitary-ware, experiencing the most evolved aesthetic and technological trends of Made in Italy porcelain tile surfaces.

In a new stand characterized by a multi-sensorial path of emotional experiences, design settings and product evolution, Ceramiche Caesar led the numerous architects, retailers and professionals in the sector through a discovery of the new opportunities for contemporary architecture.

Fragrances and scents of fine wines accompanied the discerning atmosphere of Caesar's winery, an exclusive and elegant space enriched with tiles from the Tale series, the new ceramic reinterpretation of travertine. Extending the ceramic journey of Caesar, ELAPSE and VIBE, the new porcelain tile collections that dressed, with a touch of refinement, the new spaces of the stand, with original installation patterns that underlined the tremendous versatility of Made in Italy ceramic tiles and their function as veritable design elements.

The large slabs enriched the contract and planning of commercial spaces with new formats and creativity thanks to the sizes of Project Evolution: the solutions in 120x120cm and 120x240cm of the Tale, Anima and Trace series demonstrated how the high technical and functional performance of porcelain tiles perfectly merge with the most sought-after details of Travertine, of marble and of metal combined with cement, translating, with amazing modernity, the natural aspects of materials with a touch of contemporary style.

Even the outdoor applications showed a new vitality with the new colours and sizes of the 20mm thick ÆXTRA 20 slabs and the new solution for urban design, ÆXTRA 30 in 30mm thickness.

The path of Caesar did not stop with the new collections: with CROSSDESIGN magazine, architects, designers and professionals in the sector can now count on a new tool to guide project-planning, offer and anticipate the biggest trends for 2015-2016.
